BOOM has an interesting way of development. All started with some sound calcing tries of scicco. Later StingRay and scicco played around with some effects and found out, that they are possible in very less space. After the idea of a 4k intro was born, we tried to put it all together. We needed a while to pack this code in less than 4 kb. But we succeeded and won the Amiga 4K Intro Competition at Mekka^Symposium 2001.
We managed to pack some raycasting routines, water, transparency rotationzoom and 2D metaballs in this intro. Additionally it features very clean code with multitasking support and of course some nice music. It also supports CGX through a screen promotion tool like NewMode.
(It was completely done under the Secretly!-label but almost every ex-Secretly member is now in SCARAB)
